After extended research side by side with the Tikki® Crafters, we’ve found the perfect alternative to replace the natural leather of our other sandals with entirely organic material. You know this by now - We’re always trying to get one step closer to nature!
So, why cork? We know, it’s a surprise. But at the end of the day, it's a material that proves indispensable, because of its high resistance and because of how extremely lightweight and waterproof it is. To give you a bit of a background story, the cork we use is actually harvested from the cork oaks once they reach maturity. Of course, the process doesn’t harm the trees, as the bark regrows completely again afterward. Cork is well-known for its ability to absorb vibrations and direct impact, which makes it perfect. Besides this, it acts as an air cushion. So, it quickly embraces the shape of the foot, from the first time you put the sandals on!
The 6 mm ultra-flexible Vibram sole, combined with the breathable microfiber lining establishes with every step a safe and delicate contact with the earth.
Here at Tikki Shoes, the sandal molds are continuously tested, tried, and calibrated. We do so to make sure our products fit seamlessly any type of feet. This concept offers ultimate adaptability, with sandals specially designed to tailor any foot instep height.

Tikki Crafters recommend: for the VIBE sandals, choose a size that is 0.5 to 1cm longer than the measurement of your foot, then use the Velcro strap to easily adjust it.
