Nido - the essence of barefoot
All the experience now at the basis of Tikki Shoes and your much appreciated suggestions, those of the barefoot community, have led to Nido - meaning nest in Italian. Due to the new features, Nido are probably the most barefoot sandals we could have created.
Their soles are perfectly flexible, and just 2 (two!) mm thick. Inside, a 0.8 mm textile insole has replaced the old leather one, preventing foot sliding and excessive sweat.
The anatomical shape of the new Nido offers ideal toe space, especially for the big toes. At sizes 24-32, the width fit of the sandals might be initially a bit snug (especially on chubby feet). However, wearing them for a bit allows for the leather to stretch just as much needed for a natural comfy fit.

Two newly designed small leather add-ons keep Nido's heel in its original shape and make putting them on much easier.

The new Nido barefoot kids' sandals are multi-purpose, wearable at home, kindergarten or indoor play spaces, as well as outdoors in the summer. They can be cleaned with special leather care products.
